Back on July 11th Fabulous Frames & Art hosted a show exhibiting a “…trove of original paintings in the Corporate Art Collection of the Ford Motor Company lost to collectors and the studio itself for 35 years.” I was able to go to the show opening with my wife and our, at the time, 11 day old daughter. All of the paintings in the show at one time or another appeared in either the Ford Times or Lincoln Mercury Times Magazines.

I took as many photos as I could of the gouache paintings on board. de-OH’s official post is coming soon but below are two photos to get you all excited!

My wife and I made it back from Utah just before the new year. I don’t suggest a four hour layover at any point in someone’s life. Though I did make it out snowboarding… twice, thanks to my in-laws. Christams eve at Beaver Mountain and Monday at Powder Mountain.

I’ll try to go snowboarding while I’m there.
