Back homeTomorrow Partners
02/2/2009I came across the design company Tomorrow Partners and went crazy when I saw the new branding they developed for Target’s premium food label “Archer Farms.” Look at the Archer Farms new look here.

Product & Package Design
01/2/2009Take a good look… what do you see?
I see design that looks like government products sold in stores owned by the government. Oh, and there’s no color because that might just promote individuality. Don’t get me wrong I like the monochromatic design and the Neue Helvetica font, I just have a fear that one day I won’t be allowed buy my toilet paper rolls in packs of 6,000 without fear of prosecution for hoarding. The design is by Jesse Kirsch, he has many other great designs posted… i.e. Columbia University Film Festival posters.

This is probably one of the better product designs I’ve seen in a while; it’s green and great. Did you catch the alliteration? Maneuver yourself over to brand-image.com and take a closer look at the bottle and watch a video about its design.
Lovely Package Design
12/17/2008If you’ve never heard of LovelyPackage.com you should book mark them… right after us. Anyway, they are a great blog showcasing only the best in package design. Here are just a couple I found rather interesting.
Colorodo’s Newton Running has some pretty clever shoe boxes. They are environmentally friendly and form fitting to the shoe. This minimizes unused space inside the box. With all the “pros” to the design I do see two “cons” however, 1. The stock room guy will get mad because he has to accommodate a box that isn’t a perfect rectangle and 2. When your kid needs a shoe box for his/her school project they won’t want yours… unless he/she is really yours and can appreciate good design.
I’ll be honest, I’m no expert when it comes to feminine products but if I saw this box on a shelf surrounded by all the other brands, I’d probably choose this one based solely on the simplicity of the design (font and all). The design company is Stockholm based BVD.
